Discord Tournament Bot for Any Game
AI-powered tournament management
The Brief
BattleBot runs tournaments for any game, right inside Discord — automated brackets, live results, and zero spreadsheets. Built for Gangbusters Ltd. as a companion to BattleTabs, it lets communities spin up competitive play where their players already hang out. Free to use.
This was a full production project — design, development, and live operation of a bot serving real communities.
The AI agent
The piece I’m most proud of: I built an AI agent into the bot so organizers don’t have to learn a wall of slash-commands. You describe the tournament you want in plain language — the format, the game, who’s in — and the agent sets it up, seeds the bracket, advances rounds, and posts results as matches resolve. Running an event becomes a conversation instead of a chore.
It’s the same agent-native philosophy behind the rest of the studio’s work: put an agent between the user and the busywork, and a tool that used to need an experienced admin becomes something anyone can run.
